Glendale, AZ - Office of the Mayor

This bronze statue, “Territorial Sheriff” by Bill Nebeker, is a small replica of its larger sibling, which stands guard outside the Glendale City Court and Public Safety building near Glendale Avenue and 57th Drive. Based on real-life Territorial Sheriff Sam Stout, who served from 1901 to 1902, the artwork portrays strength and courage and is a testament to Glendale’s law enforcement agencies.  The replica stands proudly atop the Mayor’s credenza.
