Mayor Scruggs in the Community
Mayor Scruggs works as an honorary crossing guard for Arrowhead Elementary School on Oct. 3, in honor of National Walk to School Month. Glendale celebrates Walk or Bike to School Day on the first Wednesday of each October. The day is recognized in order to encourage physical fitness among students, reduce traffic congestion and air pollution and enable students and parents to learn the designated safe routes to their specific schools. |
