The library offers the public access to computer workstations, the internet and software within the three branches of the library in 7 different configurations.
Standard Internet PC
The library maintains 80 Standard Internet PC’s; 35 at the Main Library, 27 at the Foothills Branch Library and 18 at the Velma Teague Branch Library.
- Internet access is filtered to block objectionable content.

Catalog/Research PC
The library maintains 19 Catalog/Research PC’s; 9 at the Main Library, 7 at the Foothills Branch Library and 3 at the Velma Teague Branch Library.
- Internet access is filtered using the library’s web content filter to allow access ONLY to the library’s website and subscription databases.
- An Internet shell program and security policies ensure that the library catalog is the homepage and any other sites are accessible only via links provided in the catalog.
- No additional software
eResearch PC (Main library only)
The Main library maintains 4 eResearch PC’s.
- Internet access is filtered using the library’s web content filter to allow access ONLY to the library’s website and subscription databases.

Kid’s Games PC
The library maintains 15 Kid’s Games PC’s; 8 at the Foothills Branch Library and 7 at the Velma Teague Branch Library.

Express Internet PC
The library maintains 4 Express Internet PC’s; 2 at the Main Library, 1 at the Foothills Branch Library and 1 at the Velma Teague Branch Library.
- Internet access is filtered to block objectionable content.
- Microsoft Office 2003 Word and Excel viewers are installed
- Access to these PC’s is limited to 15 minutes
Training Lab PC (Velma Teague only)
The library maintains 10 Training Lab PC’s at the Velma Teague Branch Library.
