eBooks:
 
eBooks are Electronic Books which must be downloaded and /or viewed or listened to on either a computer or on a portable device such as a PDA or mp3 player. The Library subscribes to several eBook databases which you may access from home if you have a valid Glendale Public Library Card. Titles include popular fiction, classic fiction, non-fiction, and children's works.

Additionally, there are many internet websites from which eBooks can be freely accessed at no charge. These titles are generally limited to public domain titles (those no longer subject to copyright), classic works, government publications, etc.
