Kid Zone - How Your City Works
Ever wonder what makes your city run?
Here in Glendale, it’s the City Council and City Manager that are in charge of things. Everything from building a stadium to fixing a pothole is approved by Glendale’s seven-member City Council, which is made up of a Mayor and six Council members elected from their home districts. Council members serve a term of four years and the Mayor is elected for a two-year term. The City Manager is appointed by the Mayor and Council.
