SALARY: $7.48 per hour

NOTE:
This position is temporary part-time at 19 hours per-week and does not include benefits.
While there may be no openings at this time, future vacancies will be filled from applications on file. JOB DESCRIPTION: Library Pages work under supervision in various departments and previous training or special knowledge of library routines is not required. Typical duties include: checking in library materials on automated computer system, shelving library materials; maintaining numerical and alphabetical order of library materials; cleaning and inspecting library materials. Hours worked may include weekends, evenings and holidays. This position is considered part-time temporary and does not include benefits.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read sort, file and shelve library materials accurately, both alphabetical and numerical.
- Some computer skills.
- Ability to follow written and oral directions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective cooperative working relationships with other employees.
- Ability to perform and complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods and to perform lifting and pushing of moderately heavy items.
