Glendale Avenue: Work on the waterline is complete and services connected over to the new waterline from 58th Drive to 51st Avenue. Work is continuing from 51st Avenue to 43rd Avenue. The main waterline has been installed, but work still needs to be accomplished on laterals (from the side of the street to the main line) on the south side of the median island near 43rd Avenue. Once this is complete waterline testing can begin prior to switching over service connections.

63rd Avenue / Maryland Avenue Intersection: The intersection at 63rd Avenue and Maryland Avenue will be closed in all four directions, beginning Saturday, November 8th, through Tuesday, November 11th. The contractor has scheduled this closure to take place during the school break (November 10-11) to reduce the impact on school and neighborhood activities. This road closure is necessary for the installation of waterline in this intersection. Waterline installation in front of Harold Smith Elementary School could not be completed during the October break and has been rescheduled to take place during the school’s Winter break in December.
Businesses at this intersection will remain open and accessible during this closure.
