The City of Glendale has contracted with Achen-Gardner Construction to conduct 22 site-specific projects to rehabilitate sewer pipe line and sewer manholes in various areas of the city. The following information is provided for current work taking place as part of this project:
Myrtle Avenue Restricted at Grand Avenue: Myrtle Avenue is restricted at Grand Avenue beginning Saturday, August 27th, through Friday, September 2nd. Myrtle Avenue traffic (east and westbound) will not be permitted to cross Grand Avenue, and will be REQUIRED TO TURN RIGHT onto Grand Avenue at the intersection. Grand Avenue will continue to permit northwest and southeast traffic, with three lanes for southeast traffic and one lane for northwest traffic; however, NO LEFT TURNS will be permitted onto Myrtle Avenue. During this time, sewer pipeline rehabilitation will take place during day and night hours (24 hours) for this construction activity. Officers will be on-site to assist with traffic and the public is encouraged to follow signs and instructions. Beginning September 6th, work will take place during night-time hours only to complete this rehabilitation. We appreciate your patience during this work.
