Update:
Achen-Gardner Engineering is currently installing a water line for the City of Glendale which will convey water from various well sites in Glendale to the Oasis Groundwater Treatment Plant, where it will be treated and become part of the water distribution system for the city. This project will enhance the overall capacity to serve the future water demands for Glendale residents. To accommodate this water line installation on Mountain View Road in front of Sahuaro Ranch Park, the following information is provided regarding park activities:
- Sahuaro Ranch Park will remain open during regular operating hours (6:00 am – 10:00 pm).
- From Thursday (March 18) at 6:00 am to Friday (March 19) at 10:00 pm, and again from Monday (March 22) at 6:00 am, through Friday (March 26) at 10:00 pm, there will be no access, vehicular or pedestrian, to the 59th Avenue entrance/road. Those who wish to visit the park during this time should access the 63rd Avenue parking lot and enter the park from that location.
- Regular park access will be available Saturday and Sunday (March 20-21) and will resume on Saturday, March 27, at 6:00 am.
