New Glendale Court House Is Underway In June, 2008, Glendale Mayor Elaine Scruggs, members of the City Council and city and court staff celebrated the first step in the city’s efforts to revitalize the Glendale Avenue Corridor by commemorating the demolition of an abandoned building to create a new city courthouse. 	Demolition - Starting Monday, June 16, 2008, demolition work will begin on the former Larry Miller site at 4701 W. Glendale Ave. This work is the first step in the development of the new Glendale City Courthouse. Demolition will take place during daytime hours and will take approximately 60 days to complete.
