2009 Overlay Project Information UPDATE
The overlay project is nearing completion with the following roads scheduled for work in the order they are planned.
- Crews will work this weekend on the milling and base course (first layer) of asphalt on the remaining segment of 67th Avenue, from Utopia to the Loop 101, to coordinate with ADOT.
- Crews will apply the rubberized asphalt to the final segment of 67th Avenue, from Utopia to the Loop 101, on Tuesday, November 17th.
- During the week of November 16th, crews will conduct striping and raising of utilities (manholes and valves) on 83rd Avenue, from Camelback Road to Bethany Home Road; and on 67th Avenue, from Utopia to the Loop 101.
- These segments are the final pieces for the 2009 Overlay Project. The project team will be reviewing punch list items and the project is scheduled to be complete prior to Thanksgiving.
