Restoration of Historic Site Preserves City's Heritage
A historic corner in Glendale that houses one of the only remaining exposed adobe homes in the city is recently unveiled its makeover. The downtown’s Adobe House and service station was renovated to look like it once did in its earlier days, providing lasting evidence of Glendale’s heritage and history. Now Accepting Nominations for the Ruth Byrne Historic Preservation Award
The Glendale Historic Preservation Commission is accepting nominations for the 18th Annual Ruth Byrne Historic Preservation Award. The purpose of the award is to recognize individuals or organizations for outstanding contributions to Glendale’s historic heritage. Learn more
