Council Invocation Application

  • Guidelines to volunteer for invocation - Attn: those interested in applying should read the guidelines first - Read now (pdf)
  • In order to solemnize proceedings of the City Council, it is the policy of the Council to allow for an invocation to be offered at its regular meetings. Individuals seeking to volunteer to offer an invocation shall submit a completed application to the Mayor’s Office. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Completed applications can be submitted through the City of Glendale website using the online form below, by e-mail (invocations@glendaleaz.com) and sending the downloadable form available below, or by fax (623-937-2764). Alternatively, completed applications may also be mailed to:

Enhanced Security Efforts for Glendale Public Meetings
