Go Recycle Arizona Textile Donation Drive
During the entire season of Glendale Glitters, the city will hold a textile recycling drive with Go Recycle Arizona. There will be collection boxes on site during each festival weekend, as well as boxes at Glendale City Hall, 5850 W. Glendale Ave., and the Glendale Visitor Center, 5800 W Glenn Dr., during the week.
The textile recycling drive will run Nov. 20 through Dec. 20, and a portion of every pound of recycling will be donated the Glendale’s official social service program, From the Heart. Household textiles that will be recycled include clothing, shoes, towels, bedding and more, and can be given a second life, turning into things like car seat stuffing and pavement materials. For more information, Go Recycle Arizona.
