The city maintains a Stormwater Management Plan that is designed to reduce, to the maximum extent practicable, pollutant discharges to and from the city’s municipal storm sewer system.  Each year, the city provides an annual report to the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) that summarizes the implementation of the SWMP during the fiscal year.
