About Us
The Glendale Office of Emergency Management was established to prepare the city’s departments prior to and coordinate their action after a catastrophic disaster or emergency whether natural or human caused. The city of Glendale is dedicated to helping you prepare, and we’re working every day to make our community safe and secure. Our Web site, as well as those of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the American Red Cross is also a great resource for you. |

National Terrorism Advisory System
This page contains any current NTAS Alerts and archived copies of expired alerts. The National Terrorism Advisory System, or NTAS, replaces the color-coded Homeland Security Advisory System (HSAS). This new system will more effectively communicate information about terrorist threats by providing timely, detailed information to the public, government agencies, first responders, airports and other transportation hubs, and the private sector. It recognizes that Americans all share responsibility for the nation's security, and should always be aware of the heightened risk of terrorist attack in the United States and what they should do. |
