Bus Buddies

City of Glendale Transportation Education, Valley Metro and city of Glendale Transit has implemented a "Bus Buddies" program for senior adults. This program involves and encourages senior adults to use the public fixed route bus system and the Gus Bus. Information is provided to senior centers, and includes:

• instructions on reading a bus book.
• directions for entering and exiting a bus (including those with mobility challenges)
• information on tendering fares
• accompanied field trips

Participating centers are:

• Casa Bill Soltero
• Manistee Manor
• Tanner Terrace
• Vista Alegre
• Waymark Gardens
