InHouse Assist has relocated their corporate headquarters from Dallas to Glendale. The company provides candidate/staff pipelines for large healthcare organizations.

Southwest Ambulance recently opened its west valley headquarters for non-emergency transport services at 6221 W. Glendale Ave.

Midwestern University is developing a doctor of optometry program with plans to open the program on its Glendale campus in the fall of 2009.  It will be the only optometry program in Arizona and one of only 18 in the country.

6 hotels with 921 rooms have recently opened along the Loop 101 area known as the Sports and Entertainment District.  3 additional hotels with 609 rooms are planned or under construction.

Dick’s Sporting Goods, the sixth anchor tenant at Arrowhead Towne Center, is under construction.
