• John Burkholder, appointed by City Council in 1995, serves as Judge for Glendale City Court.
  
  
• Manuel Delgado, appointed by the Presiding Judge in 2006, serves as Court Hearing Officer for Glendale City Court.

Judicial Selection Advisory Board

The Glendale City Council has established a Judicial Selection Advisory Board. This Board is responsible for:

• Recommending to the City Council the best qualified persons to become judges
• Evaluating the performance of appointed judges and advising the City Council about retaining them

The Presiding Judge has established a Special Judicial Officers Selection Committee, which recommends to the Presiding Judge the most qualified persons to fill the position of judge pro tempore, hearing officer and other special judicial officers of the Glendale City Court.
