Cholla District - Meet Councilmember
Manny Martinez
Councilmember Manny Martinez was appointed to represent the Cholla District in October 1996, elected in March 1998 and re-elected in 2002, 2006 and 2010. He served as Glendale’s Vice Mayor from January 2007 through June 2010. Martinez is a member and past Chair of the MAG Human Services Coordinating Committee and is Chair of the Glendale Government Services Committee. Prior to joining the Council, Councilmember Martinez served a two-year term on the Glendale Commission on Neighborhoods and participated on the Glendale Magnetic Mile Committee.

Glendale Breaks Ground at Van Tuyl Group's New Dealership
Golden shovels officially scooped dirt to signify the construction of the city of Glendale’s newest car dealership, Arrowhead Cadillac, at 83rd Avenue and Bell Road. The 55,000-square-foot luxury Cadillac dealership is a $16 million investment in north Glendale by Arrowhead Cadillac, an independent dealership affiliated with Van Tuyl Group, Inc. which provides management consulting services to the largest group of privately held dealerships in the United States. Cholla District Open House
Please join Councilmember Martinez on Saturday, April 20th, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Foothills Branch Library, 19055 N. 57th Ave., for his spring Open House. The meeting will be held in the Roadrunner Room and light refreshments will be served.
