Historic Preservation Commission
Role:
Maintains the city’s Historic Preservation Plan. Advises the Planning Commission and the City Council on historic preservation issues, including the designation of properties to the Glendale Historic Property Register, prepares National Register Nominations, and assists in building community awareness and support for historic preservation.
Membership:
Seven members appointed by the City Council for two-year terms: five of who shall be selected from disciplines of architecture, history, architectural history, planning, archaeology, or related historic preservation disciplines.
Meets:
Fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM in Room 2A of the City Administration Building.
