Community Development Advisory Committee
Role:
Makes recommendations to the City Council regarding the allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program funds to local non-profit groups and others who are eligible under federal guidelines.
Membership:
A total of eleven members, eight appointed by the City Council for two-year terms. Additionally, one member is the Glendale Development Board President and two are neighborhood council chairpersons, who are appointed by the Glendale Development Board.
Meets:
As needed, generally during the months of August through April. Time commitment averages four hours per month with additional hours in October for grant application reviews.
