The Arizona Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, or ACDHH, was established in 1977 to improve the quality of life for deaf and hard-of-hearing residents in Arizona. ACDHH serves as a statewide information referral center for issues related to people with hearing loss.
ACDHH has developed the following public service announcements in an effort to educate and inform Arizona residents about the increase in the number of deaf and hard of hearing people due to an aging population and the widespread use of devices that can produce decibel levels that exceed safe limits and, over time, can cause hearing loss. |
