Glendale’s Disability Commission
Offers Grants To Non-Profit Groups
The city is offering grant awards to eligible non-profit groups that are located in or work with the disabled community within Glendale. To be eligible for a grant award, the funding must be used for group activities and programs that provide social, enriching, cultural or learning opportunities for Glendale residents with disabilities. Funding could also be used to purchase equipment and supplies, or to improve buildings or rooms to enhance accessibility for persons with disabilities.

Role:
Advises the City Council on issues, regulations or policies affecting the city’s disabled population and their contributions and involvement with the community.
Membership:
Up to 11 members appointed by the City Council for two-year terms.
