All About Art!- Glendale Arts Commission
The city of Glendale's Arts Commission was formed to assist the City Council in making important policy decisions that impact the community. The seven member Arts Commission researches, studies and discusses specific issues with both short and long-term implications and then forwards their recommendations to the City Council.
The Commission makes recommendations on art placement, site locations, sponsorship opportunities, grant funding and many others. Members are appointed by the City Council for two-year terms.
The Commission meets on the 4th Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Glendale Main Library at either the large meeting room or the second floor boardroom.
