Ed Mell, a Phoenix native, is a highly recognized painter of stylized Southwest, panoramic landscapes. This painting depicts the Estrella Mountain range in the distinctive style of the artist. Ed Mell's artwork can be found in several public and private collections throughout Arizona, including Kartchner's Caverns in Tucson and the City of Scottsdale fine art collection. A biography of his work, "Beyond the Visible Terrain: The Art of Ed Mell", was published in 1996.
