The Water Conservation volunteers assist the Glendale Water Conservation Office with a variety of community outreach programs. Water Conservation volunteers help at special events, assemble home water audit kits, and assist office staff with special projects and ongoing programs.
“Wayne Drop” - Water Conservation Mascot Volunteer
“Wayne Drop,” the Water Conservation Office’s official mascot, assists the Glendale Water Conservation Office by attending festivals, schools, and special events and spreading the “Water Use it Wisely” message throughout the community. Friends of the Garden Volunteers
The Friends of the Garden (F.O.G.) volunteers assist the Glendale Water Conservation Office in maintaining the award-winning Glendale Xeriscape Demonstration Garden, located at the Glendale Main Library. F.O.G. volunteers assist in the care and upkeep of the garden, participate in monthly group workdays, help at special events, assist in the Water Conservation Office, and act as garden ambassadors.
