Transportation - Streetlights

How to request additional street lighting

The Streetlight Management division strives to improve lighting throughout the City of Glendale. The number and type of streetlights installed in your neighborhood when it was new was influenced by the year your neighborhood was built. The spacing of streetlights has changed over time.

The Glendale City Council has provided funding to improve lighting in areas that were built under standards that are not equal to the current standard. If you feel that your street does not have adequate lighting, you may submit a Petition Lighting Request Form to the Glendale Transportation Department for additional lighting.

These requests are subject to availability of funds and are prioritized on a first come
first served basis.
