Watercolor Painting at 6:00 PM

Location: Creative Space at Glendale Main Library
Description: Students of all skill levels are invited to this class on abstract watercolor painting. The finished product can be kept as a painting or can be used to create a journal, cards, or a background to be drawn upon. Registration required, beginning July 28. Participants must be at least 16 years old to register.

Description: Meet one-on-one with Arizona Songwriters Association member Gavan Wieser to get constructive feedback on your song, finished or not, BEFORE you go into the studio! Perform it live or bring a CD or work tape. This is a FREE opportunity and a laid back atmosphere.<br /><br />Gavan Weiser is a singer/songwriter who plays bass in the world's oldest punk band, One Foot in the Grave. Open Lab: Watercolor Painting at 5:00 PM

Location: Creative Space at Glendale Main Library
Description: Drop into this open lab any time between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. to try your hand at watercolor painting. Visit five different stations to experiment with unique techniques such as tissue paper transfer and salt crystals. Participants will leave with five samples of their own beautiful creations. No registration required. Participants must be at least 16 years old.
