Glendale Police Department’s Free VIN Etching Event

WHO: The Glendale Police Department’s Community Action Team (with sponsorship from the AZ Automobile Theft Authority)

WHAT: Free Etching of Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) onto all main windows of vehicles that are currently registered

WHERE: Glendale Adult Center - 5970 W. Brown St. Glendale, AZ 85302

WHEN: Saturday, January 31, 2009 8:30 am to 11:30 am

WHY: Etching the VIN on all of the main windows of your vehicle may prevent your vehicle from being stolen by thieves. VIN etching is also a tool that can be used by law enforcement to identify your vehicle if the all of the public VIN plates are removed.

This service is being offered to the general public at no charge and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. Make sure to bring your proof of registration for your vehicle.
