Police - Cold Case Information
Richard Walker - Case number 87-67306

On December 2, 1987, Richard Walker the owner of Pet’s West Animal Store 65th Ave and Thomas Rd did not show up for work. An employee of the business went to Richard’s apartment at 7100 N 43rd Ave and found Richard’s body inside the apartment. Richard was the victim of an obvious homicide. Neighbors in the surrounding apartment reported hearing a loud argument in the area on the previous night. Richard’s family members said he was planning on selling the Pet Shop and beginning another business. At this time there is no known motive for the murder of Richard Walker.
