Leonard Lopez - Case number 91-25136
On April 3, 1991 at 8:00 a.m. Glendale Police Officers responded to a citizen report of shots fired at 5800 W Mclellan Rd. Leonard Lopez was found down on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses reported seeing a Hispanic male in a maroon colored late model Chevrolet Monte Carlo driving past and firing a gun several times at Leonard. Leonard had been released from prison a short time before his death and may have been experiencing a conflict with an unknown person over the sale of drugs in the area. Leonard and his family had been long time residents to the Westside of the Phoenix Metro area, and it is felt someone who knew him may have information on his death.
