ADULT JAZZ—Come learn the basic skills of jazz dance. Class includes stretching and warm up, basic skills across the room, and choreography influenced by rhythms and techniques of jazz music. No experience required. Please wear loose fitting clothing or dance attire. Dance shoes are recommended but not required. 1 hour. Instructor: Dommer. Jan. 23 for 6 weeks. ADULT HIP HOP—Burn calories and stay in shape while you learn all the latest hip hop moves. Enjoy high energy dance hits and creative dance routines.This class is NEVER dull. SWING DANCE (Ballroom Dance)—Have a fun and exciting time learning the most popular steps in swing as well as adding to steps you already know. Swing II is for intermediate swing dancers and advanced swing steps will be taught. Singles and couples

BEGINNING BELLY DANCING FOR FUN & FITNESS—This ancient dance form helps improve posture and flexibility, is low impact and appropriate for participants of all ages, sizes and fitness levels. It’ll raise your heart rate, so be prepared to sweat a little! Bring a scarf to tie around your hips and any type of dance wear to allow free movement. Pantyhose, socks or ballet slippers are suggested footwear. Monthly performance opportunities available to each student. Instructor: Gerhardt-Nakarat.

SOCIAL DANCE COMBO—This is a great way to learn a variety of social dances in a relaxed environment. You will learn basic moves from dance styles such as ballroom, swing, fox trot, salsa and more! BALLET & STRETCH—Similar in structure to our other ballet classes but with the mature teen and/or adult dancer in mind. Students will learn proper ballet technique with additional emphasis on body toning and flexibility to create strength through graceful movement. Ages 15 and older. 1 hour. PATTERN PARTNER DANCING—Learn basic dance patterns for couples where no one has to lead. You’ll be able to dance to many different rhythms and all kinds of music. Designed for people with no experience in partner dancing. Basic steps and a dance will be featured each week. Intermediate class is for those who have experience dancing with a partner. HULA DANCING-ALOHA!—Come have fun, meet new people and learn how to shake those hips! No matter your age or weight, hula is an exciting way to get your heart rate up while toning those legs. BEGINNING SALSA DANCING—This class will introduce you to the basic steps and fundamentals of Salsa dancing. Highlights include musicality, how to find the rhythm to different Latin songs and the Cuban Motion (movement of your hips). While learning to dance you will be asked to rotate partners so you will get a grasp on leading and following with different dance partners. Be prepared to dance and have an awesome time! ZUMBA PARTY NIGHT—Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music and dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body, burn fat and maximize caloric output. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps. It is based on the principle that a workout should be “FUN AND EASY TO DO.” Zumba is not only great for the body, but is also great for the mind. It is a “feel-happy” workout. 1 hour.
