Summer Recreation Drop-In Program
June 1–July 2, Monday–Thursday, 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
This fun, supervised program features games, special events, sports, special guests, arts and crafts and awareness programs. It’s summer fun for children who have completed kindergarten through those entering 8th grade in the fall. IMPORTANT: Children must sign in each day for attendance purposes but may leave the site at any time. Once children have left the program, they must leave the campus area. All participants must complete the registration process noted below, before attending.
Registration information...
Registration will take place Saturday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to Noon. at the Glendale Main Library, 5959 W. Brown St. and at the Velma Teague Library, 7010 N. 58th Ave. A one-time supply fee and emergency information card must be submitted before a child may attend. Only checks or money orders will be accepted on May 16. Beginning Monday, May 18 you will also be able to register your child at the Glendale Parks and Recreation office, 5850 W. Glendale Ave. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. When registering, you must provide proof of residency, such as valid driver’s license or current water bill. The non-resident fee will be applied until proof of residency is proven. Supply Fee: Resident: $35 . Non-resident $55 (no refunds). For more information, please call 623-930-2046.
Teen Programs

Ages 13-17 • FREE
This teen program features break dancing, hip hop, exercise, girl’s group, computer use and Teen Council, just to name a few. Also, Arizona Call-a-Teen Youth Resources (ACYR) provides free job placement, career exploration, post-secondary education and tuition assistance as well as (GED) Classes.

Management Series
FREE! Topics include spending wisely, working, budgeting, the power
of savings, writing checks and balancing a checkbook, cost of owning a car, auto insurance, saving for college, credit cards, borrowing money, protecting against fraud, credit reports and more! Monday through Wednesday, August 10-12, 6:30-8 p.m. To register, call 623-930-4701.
