Glendale Youth Go To Cardinals’ Camp
On July 29th, 50 Glendale youth took the field at Cardinals’ Training Camp in Flagstaff with Offensive Lineman Deuce Lutui. Watch the story of their day!
FREE for boys and girls ages 8-15! This is a national skills competition in
which girls and boys in four separate age divisions compete against each other in punting, passing and placekicking in a fun and engaging forum. Scores are based on distance and accuracy. This year two local competitions will be held. The first is Thursday, September 10, at the Foothills Sports Complex (field 1), 57th Ave. north of Union Hills Dr., with the second Thursday, September 17, at the Glendale Youth Sports Complex
(field 5), 91st Ave. and Bethany Home Rd. On-site registration begins at
5 p.m. sharp and the competition begins at 6 p.m.
Winners from each local competition will advance to the sectional competition Sunday, October 18. The top four first-place finishers in each age bracket from the boys’ and girls’ divisions from the pool of Sectional Competition champions will advance to the Team Championship at the Arizona Cardinal Stadium during a regular season home game.
