Right of Way Maintenance (ROW)

ROW is the landscaped strip of land along Glendale's arterial streets for which the city is responsible for maintaining. These areas typically have trees, shrubs, plants and irrigation systems that must be regularly maintained, called developed right-of-way.

The city is also responsible for maintaining certain areas, such as city-owned properties, alleys and roadsides, that are not landscaped, called undeveloped right-of-way.

The maintenance of these right-of-way areas fall under the department of Parks and Recreation. For questions or concerns, please call 623-930-2656 or email ROWconcerns@glendaleaz.com.
