CAPRA provides quality assurance and quality improvement of accredited park and recreation agencies throughout the United States. CAPRA is the only national accreditation of park and recreation agencies, and is a valuable measure of an agency’s overall quality of operation, management, and service to the community.
Grand Canal Linear Park
75th Avenue and Camelback west to 97th Avenue and Bethany Home Road Parking available just north of Camelback on 75th Avenue. Open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Daily
Grand Canal Linear Park is a great park for walking, horseback riding and biking. It is roughly 3-1/4 miles of trail that runs along the the Grand Canal. It has a paved, lighted trail with wonderful landscaping throughout and crosses the canal several times. This park is a great trail park that links to the Western Area Regional Park and the University of Phoenix Stadium and Westgate.
The park also features a completely wheelchair accessible playground that features slides, swings and more at the 75th Avenue and Camelback Road portion.
