Roadwork Ahead

Upcoming projects to keep on your radar

On Monday, March 13 at 5 a.m., 91st Avenue will be closed between Rovey and San Juan avenues for the installation of a new waterline. During the closure, 83rd or 99th avenues may be used as alternate routes, and 91st Avenue will open by 5 a.m., Sunday March 18.

In mid-March, there will be another closure along 91st Avenue on the west side of the street. The streets that will be affected are Missouri, Marshall and San Juan avenues. The closures are needed in order to install new asphalt and curb in the area. The work will be completed one street at a time. The construction work will take approximately three total weeks to complete.

Long term: Construction is underway by a private contractor to install water and sewer lines on 75th Avenue for the property at the Southwest corner of 75th Avenue and Deer Valley Road, which is being developed as a dental office. This construction will take approximately four weeks to complete and at times there may be lane closures on 75th Avenue. There will be an off-duty officer at the intersection to operate the traffic signal. Construction workers have been directed to park on the site.
