In an effort to develop a common vision of “One Community” for the future of Glendale, the City Council set goals and key objectives to provide residents with its clearly defined priorities and provide employees direction and focus for the next 12 to 18 months. In preparation for developing these goals, Glendale Councilmembers attended a goal-setting and strategic-planning retreat in November 2005, at which they conducted a broad-based and future-oriented discussion that was the basis for many of the 2006-07 goals.
The new goals reflect a long-standing commitment to providing the highest quality of services in the most fiscally responsible manner to Glendale residents, businesses and Luke Air Force Base.
