Residents Overwhelmingly Satisfied With City Services
Results from a recent Resident Awareness Survey show that 92 percent of Glendale residents are satisfied with the overall performance of the city in providing services.
The Behavior Research Center was commissioned by the city to execute the study, conducting more than 200 in-depth interviews via telephone. The study also asked questions about how residents want to communicate with the city. Departments had the opportunity to submit questions in an effort to receive feedback on such topics as public safety, economic development and use of city facilities.
Listed below is a summary of further findings of the survey:
- 84 percent of our residents read the Glendale Connection water bill newsletter.
- 41 percent of Glendale residents have visited the city’s Web site in the past year.
- 56 percent of Glendale residents have attended an event at the Jobing.com Arena.
- 52 percent of Glendale residents watch the city’s cable stations, Glendale 11.
- 83 percent of residents indicate they would be interested in receiving newsletters on city construction projects in their neighborhood and 78 percent are interested in receiving notification of city-planned road closures.
- 64 percent of Glendale residents have visited the library in the past 12 months.
