The parade starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, and it kicks off at 52nd and Glendale avenues. The route ends at Murphy Park in Historic Downtown Glendale. This year's theme is "Prevent Cooking Fires: Watch What You Heat."
Parade participants will include fire vehicles, marching bands, clowns, scouts and much more. After the parade, there will be a muster competition between various fire department teams as well as a display of fire department vehicles. Food vendors, arts, crafts and safety information booths will be located in Murphy Park. |
