The Glendale Hispanic Network will present a Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 30, in Murphy Park in Historic Downtown Glendale, between noon and 5 p.m.
Music, Dance, Food and Fun!
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the event will highlight traditional music and dance, such as mariachi and ballet folklorico, as well as contemporary popular Latin music featuring local entertainers. The day will also be a time of celebration of Mexican heritage and culture, with speakers expounding on the meaning of the celebration.
In addition to musical and dance performances, a selection of food and beverage will be available for purchase. There will also be plenty of activities for children. Traditional Mexican crafts will be fun for all ages, and several other activities will delight kids and adults alike.
