The 2006 Sweet Summer Saturdays season will end the way it began with cool treats and sweet deals on August 12, 2006. Enjoy the day exploring Historic Downtown Glendale’s one-of-a-kind boutiques and antique shops for those hard-to-find buys and great steals.

The fun begins at 10 a.m. and will last throughout the day. Start at the Glendale Visitor Center to pick up your Summer Savings Pass, event map and a refreshing summer treat that will cool you off on your quest for great savings.

Not only will you find great savings in the shops and restaurants around the downtown; you’ll also have a chance to win great prizes at the Glendale Visitor Center. Take a spin on the prize wheel for a chance to win fun gifts like t-shirts and Glendale Downtown Gift Cards.

Sweet Summer Saturdays takes place on the second Saturday in August in Historic Downtown Glendale. The Glendale Visitor Center is located at 5800 W. Glenn Drive, Suite 140, Glendale, AZ.

Visitors will also have a chance to pick up the Historic Downtown recipe collection for summer 2006, Summer Seasonings, while supplies last.
