What’s New?
The downtown project included façade enhancements to the historic Wells Fargo building at 58th Avenue and Glenn Drive; a 10,000-square-foot Civic Center Annex complete with meeting, office and storage space; and the creation of open space and a cozy brick and grass plaza area nestled between the Bead Museum and Annex. This $3 million downtown improvement project will allow the Civic Center to target a new customer market and focus on small group meeting space availability. The Plaza will provide Glendale’s festivals and special events with an additional venue with seating for small, intimate performances.
