Time to Get Hoppin'!
Catch a little spring fever at the annual Eggstravaganza at Sahuaro Ranch Park
Why wait for the bunny? You can hunt down a basket of eggs a little early at Glendale’s Sahuaro Ranch Park as the Spring Eggstravaganza gets underway.
Fun for All
The April 8th event will offer a variety of family activities, including:
- Make-and-take arts and crafts
- Carnival games
- Exciting rides
- Giant inflatable games
- The traditional egg hunts
Each child will win candy and prizes. Bring your camera for a photo with the Easter Bunny, and a plain, hard-boiled egg if you’d like to enter the egg decoration contest.
Looking for Volunteers
This annual tradition drew more than 7,000 people last year. To help keep this event free to the public and maintain the high quality of programming and services, the Glendale Parks and Recreation Department is currently recruiting volunteers and soliciting donations and/or sponsors for the program.
Volunteer groups, clubs and individuals are needed to help with the activities and work along side staff. This event is also a wonderful opportunity for corporate and title sponsorships. Candy, product and prize donations are given to the participants during the festival.
If you or your organization is interested in contributing, please contact Jen Godbehere at (623) 930-2042 or jgobehere@glendaleaz.com.
