City announces new online and telephone communication features—GlendaleAZ.com now offers searchable FAQs about city services and subscription bulletins allowing people to receive updates on city news, jobs, events and more!
GlendaleAZ.com, your official city Website, has added two new elements to its slate of online services—as well as a major telephone information system—furthering the City of Glendale’s commitment to communication and its mission to make your city Website the best dynamic online community for residents, visitors, city partners, businesses and more.
City FAQs
GlendaleAZ.com announces the addition of City FAQs, which can be found at the top right of your web browser window under the search function or by clicking here.
Glendale FAQs is a collection of frequently asked questions and answers from various city departments. To search for your question, click on the appropriate city department or service and select from the listed categories. You can also use the search box provided on the main FAQ page by typing in the term you are looking for and clicking ‘search.’ Additional FAQs are being developed, so please check back often for the latest information.
Just a Phone Call Away
You can also access the City FAQs from anywhere at any time by using the automated phone system. Just call (623) 930-4536 (GLEN) and wait for the series of prompts to guide you through the various FAQ categories. Topics currently available include:
- Code Compliance
- Courts and Legal Services
- Environmental Resources
- Utilities
- Billing
- Licensing and Sales Tax.
This valuable tool also gives callers fax-back capabilities for forms as well as the option to transfer directly to the department that issued the message so the caller can talk to someone live during regular business hours. Future plans include the addition of brief over-the-phone surveys and broadcast announcements.
Glendale Bulletins
Web users also can now sign up for Glendale Bulletins—an online information source enabling you to receive updates on Glendale news, jobs, council agendas and more. Participants are able to choose which notifications they want to receive and how they want to be contacted (phone, fax, e-mail and TTY text telephone service). Update your account information at any time by clicking on the “Sign Up for Glendale Bulletins!” tab at the top right of your browser (next to the Website search feature).
