RESIDENTS INVITED TO ATTEND
COMMUNITY CONVERSATION WITH GOVERNOR,
POLICY ADVISORS AT GLENDALE CIVIC CENTER
GLENDALE, Ariz. – West Valley residents and business leaders are invited to spend the morning with Gov. Janet Napolitano and her top policy advisors at a special “Community Conversations” program hosted by Mayor Elaine Scruggs.
The free program will be held 9 – 11 a.m., Friday, June 3 at the Glendale Civic Center, 5750 W. Glenn Drive.
A panel of the governor’s top policy advisors will open the event with a discussion on issues important to citizens – transportation, education, child protective services, homeland security and economic development.
Gov. Napolitano will speak at 10:30 a.m., which will include a question-and-answer session.
The event is being held in conjunction with Mayor Scruggs' Community Conversations program that she developed to inform and engage residents on important local and regional issues.
