  • NOTICE: When necessary, the library uses the services of a collection agency to retrieve overdue items and excessive overdue fines.
  • Up to 35 items may be checked out on your card at any given time. Nonfiction books of the same subject are limited to 5. DVDs are limited to 10. The most current magazine issues are for library use only.
  • If Items are not on hold for other patrons, they may be renewed via our online library catalog or via our 24-hour automated phone number at (623) 939-0532. You must have your library card number and PIN available. Video games must be renewed at the checkout desk with an additional loan fee. Quick Views, Weekly Readers, and TV Series on DVD cannot be renewed.
  • Most items within the library catalog may be requested if they are checked out or located at another branch. You may place a hold through the catalog or call the reference desk at any one of our three locations. Items not found in the catalog may be requested through interlibrary loan, up to 5 at a time. You will be notified by your choice of email, phone, or postal mail when these items are available for pick-up, and they will be held for 7 days. If you should no longer need an item, please contact the library to cancel the request. Failure to pick up reserved materials will result in a $0.25 fine per regular item and $2.00 fine per Interlibrary Loan item.
  • All items should be returned to the inside depository near the checkout desk at any of our three libraries, or to the drive-up bookdrop at  Foothills Branch. The outside depositories at the Main Library and  Velma Teague Branch should only be used after library hours. It is recommended that you do not deposit DVDs, videocassettes, CDs, audiocassettes, or video games in the outside depositories. Please do not use the outside depositories if they are jammed or full, as you are responsible for the items on your card until they are checked in.
