Tell Your Story
Take a look at our great options for kids, teens, and adults below. If you have questions about Tell Your Story Summer Reading, please drop by any Glendale Public Library Branch.
*This project is supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
*Tell Your Story: Youth Summer Reading
Kids up to age 11 can pick up a reading record to participate. Just by keeping track of their reading by time, by pages or by the book, kids can win fun prizes, a free book and a sweet treat from Sonic, our Summer Reading sponsor. Is your child too little or too squirmy to listen? Children can earn spaces by attending library programs or completing pre-reader activities.
*Tell Your Story: Teen Summer Reading
Teens ages 12-18 can pick up a reading record, keep track of their reading by time, by pages or by the book, and earn cool prizes. Teens can also make progress by submitting reviews, sending us a #bookface pic on Instagram, or getting a library card!
*Tell Your Story: Adult Summer Reading
Adults who read four or more books this summer can receive a free book of their own, plus something cool from Sonic.
