GLobal Warming: the Arizona Climate Project

 During December 2006, Phoenix attorney Lora Sanders went to Nashville to take part in an intensive tutorial about issues surrounding the many troubling climate changes. Al Gore and a team of renowned scientists and environmental educators led the workshops. Please join Ms. Sanders who will discuss the threat of and solutions to global warming as she shares information about The Arizona Climate Project, a grassroots effort to reduce or offset carbon emissions.

It is summer time, and anyone who attends Glendale Main Library’s “The Unexplained” knows to expect a most delicious concoction of assorted speakers and topics. The month of July proves to be no exception to the rule. Look for the following speakers at 7 p.m. on Thursdays in the auditorium:

Downtown Glendale will celebrate Christmas in July and the Velma Teague Branch Library will offer spectacular bargains in their book sale.
